Future of Human-Centered AI
“The Future of Human-Centered AI: Governance Innovations and Protection of Human Rights” is hosted by Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law.
The day-long conference includes a keynote conversation on AI & Universal Human Rights, with Michelle Bachelet, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
Additional sessions will cover themes including “Ethics in AI”, “Addressing Gender and Ethnic Biases in AI”, “Human Rights by Design: Private Sector Responsibilities” and “Government Regulation, National Strategies & Geopolitics of AI”
The Secretariat of the High-level Panel on Digital Cooperation is a co-sponsor of the event, together with Access Now, Article 19, Global Partners Digital, NDI, Stanford AI Lab, Stanford DCSL, Stanford SAILS, the UN Human Rights Office, University of Essex and WSD Handa Center for Human Rights & International Justice.
