The United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) is an inter-governmental body, made up of experts nominated by forty-three Member States, which provides the UN General Assembly with high-level advice on relevant science and technology issues.

The meetings in January will address two priority themes:

  1. The impact of rapid technological change on sustainable development
  2. The role of science, technology and innovation in building resilient communities, including through the contribution of citizen science

On Day 3 (Thursday 17 January), co-executive director of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation, Jovan Kurbalija, will host a consultation with participants. Details:
